Hello! It’s me!
I’m David. I’m an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer in Northern Kentucky, just south of Cincinnati.
I love to image the night sky and, thanks to narrowband filters, I’m able to do that from my light-polluted back yard. Technology also allows me to share these views with others through a process called live stacking; the computer controlling my telescope takes 30-60 second timed exposures and “stacks” them over and over, revealing color and detail you can’t see just by looking through a telescope’s eyepiece.
I invite you to follow my various social media accounts, YouTube, Red Note, and Discord. I am no longer using TikTok or any Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) platforms. You can read about my decision here.
Use my contact page to send me a message if you like. Or if you’re looking for telescope advice, use this form.
